Topline Vet Physio plays a valid part in my competition preparation and horse’s wellbeing. With regular treatments Felicity keeps both myself and my mare in excellent condition and at the top of our game. Our results so far this season speak for themselves. Felicity is extremely thorough and really understands your horse’s needs. Her calm and relaxed approach around the horse is really beneficial, especially when dealing with a nervous or tense horse. I can highly recommend Felicity and would not be without her!

Topline Veterinary Physiotherapy is the proud sponsor of Hayley Vallance, an amateur event rider who competes her mare Gralaska (Gemma) at events throughout Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas.

"I bought Gemma in 2002 as a 4 year old with the view of continuing my love of show jumping at a higher level. Gemma is bred out of Gralshuter, an international show jumping stallion based in Germany.

We were successful at British Show jumping and competed for a couple of season accumulating the winnings.

With my love of jumping I entered some Hunter Trials and this proved to be a success, so I decided to enter a few unaffiliated ODE’s. The idea of having all three phases on one day really appealed to me! To my surprise we did really well and that was it, I was hooked on eventing.

Our dressage was always our weak phase, but in 2007 I came across Lara Dennis, GB dressage rider and trainer and started having lessons with her.

Our dressage marks began to increase and with a lot of hard work, Lara got us to where we are now – winning!

In 2008 I entered the open at Milton Keynes Three Day Event. This was not only the 3 phases that we were used to, but also trot up’s, a steeple chase section and roads and tracks – it was like being at Burghley. We had a fantastic time and won our class. This was my biggest and most memorable moment of our career to date; both my mum and me shed a tear!

In 2010 I decided I go affiliated and became a member of British Eventing. We entered eight events and came in the top 10 on several occasions. We also qualified for the Grassroots Regional Final, which was a qualifier for the championships at Badminton. We finished 10th in a very strong class, and this finished our season off on a real high.

This season so far is really going well for us with a 2nd place at Osberton unaffiliated ODE at the end of February and a win at Brocklesby Pony Club ODE at the start of March. We have also had three wins and a 2nd place in two unaffiliated dressage competitions.

I put this success down to hard training over the winter and regular physio treatments from Felicity. "
